MEN'S TEAM

The future is orange

Eagles HC Men’s section is currently divided into four groups:

Men’s 1st XI
Our men’s senior squad participates in the local men’s first division and yearly in official European Competitions. They also compete regularly against Spanish opposition from across Southern Spain.
Men’s 2nd XI
Our men’s reserves side competes in the local second division annual league and cup competitions and acts as a feeder for the men’s team and a bridge between Senior and Junior hockey.
Men’s veterans/social
Our veteran/social side does not play in any official competitions by choice but rather they train with our men’s second team and also get together at various times during the year to provide opposition for the UK touring teams that visit us regularly.
Juniors
Our boy’s development, junior and mini teams all come under our Youth Academy structure.

Eagles Senior men’s team is one of Gibraltar’s oldest and most successful hockey teams both locally and internationally!

Our men’s first team has won fourteen national titles, our most notable achievements being whilst competing in official European competitions organised by the EHF and whilst representing Gibraltar.

Our team obtained a gold medal in the now defunct “C” Division Championship’s, three silver medals in the “B” Division Championship’s and promotion to the “A” Division in the not-too-distant past.

During our last participation in Europe we also achieved a fantastic gold medal at the Challenge competition held in Malta back in 2019.

So, whether you’re an aspiring champion willing to compete locally and abroad or whether you’re a social player just wanting to enjoy the sport we all love, there is definitely a place for you at Eagles HC.
